Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The deciding is the hard part, and that's behind you. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps it refreshingly painless: reach out, hear your number, give us the nod, and we'll arrive with cash in hand. No dragged-out process, no games.
We buy cars for cash all over Cleveland and the surrounding Blount County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Cleveland, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Cleveland: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Cleveland sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Cleveland or the wider Blount County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in Alabama comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Cleveland vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Alabama environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.
Every car we look at in Cleveland falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Cleveland.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Cleveland on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Cleveland means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Alabama asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In Alabama, sign the back of the title in the seller section and record the odometer reading.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — apply for a replacement title through the AL Department of Revenue (MVT 12-1 form).
No title in hand? We can often still buy it — bring your ID and registration and we will walk you through what Alabama needs.
Good to know: Vehicles 35 years and newer need an odometer disclosure on the title.

Cleveland is a town located in central Blount County, Alabama, with a population of 1,245 as of the 2020 census. The community was first settled in the 1820s and had developed into a small town by the early 1880s. Originally known as Dry Creek Crossroads, it later became known as Blackwood's Crossroads, named after local entrepreneur John Blackwood. When a post office was established, the town was renamed in honor of President Grover Cleveland. The town officially incorporated in 1964.
Geographically, Cleveland sits in a scenic area where the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River flows past the northwest side of town. Just west of Cleveland stands the historic Swann Covered Bridge, which is listed on the National Register and spans the river. The town is conveniently positioned along major routes, with U.S. Route 231 and Alabama State Route 79 intersecting north of the town center. Route 231 provides easy access to Oneonta, the county seat, located seven miles southeast, while also connecting northward to Huntsville and southward toward Birmingham. The town encompasses a total area of 7.9 square miles. Today, Cleveland remains a rural community where all residents live in rural areas, maintaining its small-town character while serving as a gateway to both natural attractions and regional centers of commerce and culture.
