Cotulla is a city in La Salle County, Texas, located about eighty-one miles southwest of San Antonio. As the county seat, it is home to approximately 3,718 residents according to the 2020 census. The city's origins trace back to Joseph Cotulla, an immigrant from Silesia who arrived in La Salle County in 1868 and established a large ranching operation.
