Rudyard Township is a civil township located in south-central Chippewa County on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, with a 2020 census population of 1,289 residents. The unincorporated community of Rudyard sits on M-48 near Interstate 75, which crosses through the township and provides convenient access to nearby destinations, with Sault Ste. The township's history also includes Dryburg, which operated as a station on the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad and maintained a post office from 1903 until 1943.
