Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Fort Mc Kavett, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Fort Mc Kavett: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Fort Mc Kavett sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Fort Mc Kavett or the wider Menard County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in Texas comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Fort Mc Kavett vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Texas environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

Fort McKavett is a ghost town in Menard County, Texas, situated at the intersection of Farm to Market Roads 864 and 1674, approximately twenty miles southwest of Menard. The settlement traces its origins to the 1850s as a civilian population north of Camp San Saba, originally known as Scabtown. When Camp San Saba closed in 1859, many residents departed to escape Indian raids. The United States Army reopened the outpost in 1869 as Fort McKavett, and as the civilian population grew, the community took the fort's name. The local economy flourished during this period, supporting two hotels, three churches, a newspaper, and a mattress factory. Though the Army closed the fort in 1883, the relocation of Native American tribes made it safe enough for civilians to stay and continue building. The town reached its peak population of around 150 residents at the beginning of the twentieth century. The community later declined during the latter half of the 1900s. Writer Robert E. Howard visited Fort McKavett in 1933 and described it as a fascinating village of ruins and semi-ruins, with people living among the remnants of old barracks and officers' quarters. Today, Fort McKavett maintains a post office with ZIP code 76841 and sits at an elevation of 2,169 feet. The area experiences a mid-latitude arid desert climate with hot, dry summers and mild to cool winters.
