We buy cars for cash all over Pomeroy and the surrounding Meigs County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Pomeroy, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Pomeroy: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Pomeroy sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Pomeroy or the wider Meigs County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in Ohio comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Pomeroy vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Ohio environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

Pomeroy, the county seat of Meigs County, Ohio, is a village situated along the Ohio River approximately 21 miles south of Athens. Founded in 1804 and named for landowner Samuel Pomeroy, the village was incorporated in 1840 and designated county seat in 1841. The area's earliest settlement began with Samuel Ervin's arrival in 1806, followed by the start of coal mining in 1819. The community's industrial growth accelerated when Samuel Wyllys Pomeroy arrived from Massachusetts in 1830. Through his son-in-law Valentine B. Horton, the village developed its coal industry and attracted settlers from eastern states, Germany, Ireland, and Wales. Horton pioneered modern mining methods and coal transportation by river, building the first coal barges and in 1836 the first coal-fired boat, the Condor. When salt was discovered in deep wells near the river in 1848, Horton developed that industry as well, using local coal to process salt. By 1870, Pomeroy had grown to a prosperous industrial town of 5,000 residents with steel mills, machine shops, breweries, and numerous other businesses. The early twentieth century brought peak prosperity, though the strikes of the 1920s and the Great Depression began a decline. Though World War II brought temporary revival, coal and salt production ceased after the war ended. The population has continued to decrease from its historical peak. Today, Pomeroy has a population of 1,573 according to the 2020 census.
