  • We bring the DMV paperwork and walk you through it at pickup.

The Process

How It Works in Sequoia National Park

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.

2

We Drive Out to Sequoia National Park

Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Sequoia National Park: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Check Your Paperwork

Can I Sell My Car in Sequoia National Park?

Two questions. Tells you exactly where you stand.

Do you have the title in your name?

Is there still a loan or lien on the car?

This includes title loans, and any bank or lender listed as lienholder.

If you have the title and it's paid off

You're good to go

Clean title, no lien. Have the title, a photo ID, and the keys ready at pickup — our driver brings the rest of the paperwork.

If you've lost the title (and there's no lien)

Still workable

A missing title usually isn't a dealbreaker. Bring a photo ID and the vehicle registration if you have it. We handle no-title sales regularly — just tell us your situation when you call.

If there's still a lien or title loan on the car

Not yet — the lien has to be cleared first

A car with an active lien or title loan can't be sold until the lender releases it. Pay off the balance, get the lien release from your lender, and the title becomes yours to sell. Once that's done, give us a call — we'll buy it.

If you're not sure whether there's a lien

Easy to check

Look at the front of your title — if a bank or lender is printed in the lienholder section, there's a lien on the car. If you financed it and haven't paid it off, assume there is one. Still unsure? Call us and we'll work through it with you.

If you have no title and aren't sure about a lien

Check with your lender

Without the title in hand, the quickest way to know is to contact the lender you financed through, or request a title record from your state's motor vehicle office. If you never financed the car, there's almost certainly no lien. Call us and we'll help you sort it out.

Selling Your Title in California

How to Sign Over a Car Title in California

Selling a car in Sequoia National Park means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.

Where to sign

In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.

Notary required?

No — notarization is not required.

Your license plates

Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.

Lost your title?

No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.

No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.

Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

For the official rules, see the California DMV title page.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Sequoia National Park?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price

The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.

We Pick Up on Your Schedule

Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Sequoia National Park or Tulare County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.

We Handle the Paperwork

Selling a car in California takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. Don't have the title? That's usually workable — just tell us up front. The one thing we can't buy is a car with an active lien or title loan on it.

Towing Is Free, and You're Paid Before It Leaves

The tow costs you nothing — it isn't folded into the offer or taken out afterward. You're paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Every car we buy may be resold at auction, used for parts, or recycled at a licensed California yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.

What We Buy in Sequoia National Park

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Sequoia National Park falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. The one exception: we can't buy a car that still has an active lien or title loan on it.

A Little About Sequoia National Park

The Story of Sequoia National Park, CA

Sequoia National Park, established on September 25, 1890, protects over 404,000 acres of forested mountainous terrain in the southern Sierra Nevada east of Visalia. The park rises nearly 13,000 feet in elevation and contains Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States at 14,505 feet above sea level. Administered together with the adjacent Kings Canyon National Park, these lands were designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1976.

The park is renowned for its giant sequoia trees, including the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree on Earth by volume. The Giant Forest alone contains five of the ten largest trees in the world and connects via the Generals Highway to Kings Canyon's General Grant Grove. Together, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks preserve 202,430 acres of old-growth forests and protect a landscape that was ancestral homeland to the Monache, Tubatulabal, Owens Valley Paiute, Yokuts, and Shoshone peoples before Euro-American settlement.

The park's southern entrance near Three Rivers provides access to the only National Park Service-protected California Foothills ecosystem, featuring blue oak woodlands, chaparral, and grasslands home to bobcats, foxes, mule deer, and occasionally mountain lions and Pacific fishers. At higher elevations, coniferous forests of ponderosa, Jeffrey, sugar, and lodgepole pines intersperse with giant sequoias and white and red firs. Eighty-four percent of the combined parks remains designated wilderness, roadless and accessible only by foot or horseback, with the majority protected as Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness since 1984.
