Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. What Sets Wee Pay Cash For Cars Apart in Ester

Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.

  • Free towing is baked in — never carved out of your offer
  • You choose the pickup time and we plan around it, all across Ester and Fairbanks North Star County

The Process

How It Works in Ester

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.

2

We Drive Out to Ester

Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Ester: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Ester?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price — Locked In

You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Ester sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.

Setting Up Your Ester Pickup

After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Ester or the wider Fairbanks North Star County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.

The Paperwork Is on Us

Signing a car over in Alaska comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Once your Ester vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Alaska environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

What We Buy in Ester

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Ester falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.

Our Promise in Ester

Why Ester Sellers Choose Us

Quoted Price Is Final

No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.

Free Towing, Every Time

There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Ester.

Any Condition Considered

Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Ester on its own, not by a blanket rule.

Paid Before It Leaves

You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

Selling Your Title in Alaska

How to Sign Over a Car Title in Alaska

Where to sign

In Alaska, sign and date the title in the seller area and fill in the odometer.

No — notarization is not required.

Your license plates

Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.

No problem — request a duplicate title from the Alaska DMV (Form 812).

Good to know: Plates stay with the seller in Alaska, not the vehicle.

A Little About Ester

The Story of Ester, AK

Ester is a census-designated place in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska, with a 2020 population of 2,416, though only around twelve houses sit within the village proper with the rest scattered throughout the surrounding area. Founded as a gold mining camp in the early 1900s, Ester began when Latham A. Jones staked the first claim in February 1903, followed by independent miner John Mihalcik, a Czechoslovak immigrant, who discovered gold on Ester Creek in November 1903. By 1907, Ester City had grown to around two hundred residents with a thriving mining industry, complete with a social hall known throughout the mining district, five saloons, and two hotels. The town's fortunes shifted in the late 1920s when the Fairbanks Exploration Company began large-scale operations using dredges and draglines, eventually reshaping the community. Today, Ester remains a vibrant cultural hub, home to many artists, writers, and musicians. The Ester Camp Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, preserves eleven surviving buildings from the F.E. Company's camp. The town supports a volunteer fire department, the John Trigg Ester Library that opened in 1999, the Ester Historic Society founded in 2018, and a post office with its own zip code. Gold mining continues on a small scale, while the community maintains active saloons, art studios, and hosts cultural events. The area's rich geological history includes significant discoveries of prehistoric fossils and bones, including a 198-pound mammoth tusk found along Ester Creek in the 1950s.
