The Process

How It Works in Patagonia

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.

2

We Drive Out to Patagonia

Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Patagonia: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Patagonia?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price — Locked In

You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Patagonia sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.

Setting Up Your Patagonia Pickup

After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Patagonia or the wider Santa Cruz County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.

The Paperwork Is on Us

Signing a car over in Arizona comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Once your Patagonia vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Arizona environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

A Little About Patagonia

The Story of Patagonia, AZ

Patagonia, a small town in Santa Cruz County, Arizona, is home to 804 residents according to the 2020 census. The area has a rich history stretching back centuries. Native Americans, including the Tohono O'odham people, originally inhabited the region, taking advantage of plentiful hunting and fishing opportunities. Spanish explorer Fray Marcos de Niza entered the area in 1539, becoming the first documented European in what is now Arizona. In 1692, Father Eusebio Francisco Kino arrived as a missionary and incorporated the area into Mission Los Santos Ángeles de Guevavi.

The town's name reflects an unexpected connection to distant lands. Welsh miners who came to the region from Patagonia in South America, struck by the resemblance of the local mountains to the Andes, named the nearby peaks the Patagonia Mountains. Mining and ranching shaped the town's development. By the mid-1850s, prospectors were extracting silver and lead from the surrounding mountains. Rollin Rice Richardson, a Civil War veteran who made his fortune in mining, founded the town in 1896 and hired a surveyor to plot the settlement. Despite Richardson's wish to name it after himself, local residents successfully petitioned to name it Patagonia instead. The town was officially recognized by the postal service in 1900 and formally incorporated in 1948.

Today, Patagonia has transformed into a tourist destination, retirement community, and arts and crafts center, a far cry from its mining-focused past.
