Plush is a small unincorporated community nestled in the Warner Valley of Lake County, in south-central Oregon, located about 39 miles northeast of Lakeview. As of the 2020 census, the community had a population of 39 residents. The town's distinctive name reportedly came from a mispronunciation of "flush" during a poker game in the 1800s. The Plush post office was established in 1888, with David R. Jones as its first postmaster, followed by Daniel Boone in 1898, who also opened a general store.
