Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The deciding is the hard part, and that's behind you. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps it refreshingly painless: reach out, hear your number, give us the nod, and we'll arrive with cash in hand. No dragged-out process, no games.
We buy cars for cash all over Tuscumbia and the surrounding Colbert County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Tuscumbia, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Tuscumbia: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Tuscumbia sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Tuscumbia or the wider Colbert County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in Alabama comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Tuscumbia vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Alabama environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.
Selling a car in Tuscumbia means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Alabama asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In Alabama, sign the back of the title in the seller section and record the odometer reading.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — apply for a replacement title through the AL Department of Revenue (MVT 12-1 form).
No title in hand? We can often still buy it — bring your ID and registration and we will walk you through what Alabama needs.
Good to know: Vehicles 35 years and newer need an odometer disclosure on the title.
For the official rules, see the Alabama DMV title page.

Tuscumbia is the county seat of Colbert County, Alabama, and part of The Shoals metropolitan area. With a population of 9,054 at the 2020 census, the city sits on land that was once traditional territory of the Chickasaw people. When the Michael Dixon family arrived around 1816, they became the first European American settlers, trading with Chief Tuscumbia for the valley and establishing a community around a natural spring. The town was incorporated in 1820 as Ococoposa, a Chickasaw word meaning cold water, and renamed Tuscumbia in 1822 in honor of the Chickasaw Chief Rainmaker. As one of Alabama's oldest towns, Tuscumbia grew into a center for northern Alabama agriculture after a federal road was completed in 1820, and became a major railroad hub following the completion of a rail line in 1832. The city is home to several National Register historic sites, including the Tuscumbia Historic District. Tuscumbia is perhaps best known as the hometown of Helen Keller, who lived at Ivy Green. Today, the city hosts the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and holds an annual Legendary Catfish Cooking Contest that draws visitors from across the region.
