We buy cars for cash all over Chinese Camp and the surrounding Tuolumne County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Chinese Camp, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Chinese Camp: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Chinese Camp sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Chinese Camp or the wider Tuolumne County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Chinese Camp vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

Chinese Camp is a small census-designated place in Tuolumne County nestled in the grassy foothills of the Sierra Nevada near the southern end of California's Gold Country. Once a thriving Gold Rush settlement, the town originated when Chinese laborers driven from neighboring Camp Salvado were resettled here beginning in 1849. Originally called Camp Washington or Washingtonville, the area gradually became known as Chinese Camp or Chinese Diggings as thousands of Chinese immigrants arrived between 1849 and 1882 seeking fortune on the legendary Gold Mountain. At its peak, the town was home to an estimated five thousand Chinese residents and served as the metropolis of its mining district, offering many urban comforts. An 1899 mining bulletin recorded total gold production from the area at nearly two point five million dollars. The settlement is marked as California Historical Landmark number 423, designated in 1949. Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, established in 1855, remains the oldest church in the county, though it has fallen into disrepair since a 1949 renovation. The distinctive modern Chinese Camp School, designed in the style of a Chinese pagoda, has operated since 1970. Today the population has declined significantly to 90 residents as of the 2020 census, down from 126 in 2010. The surrounding wilderness is home to the last remaining known population of the federally listed threatened plant species Brodiaea pallida, the Chinese Camp brodiaea.
