Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Long Barn, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Long Barn: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Long Barn sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Long Barn or the wider Tuolumne County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Long Barn vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

Long Barn is a census-designated place in Tuolumne County, California, located roughly four miles northeast of Mi-Wuk Village off State Route 108. According to the 2020 census, the community has a population of 162 residents spread across its 2.9 square miles.
The area holds deep historical significance for the region. Long Barn sits near the Quail Site, an important food processing and gathering location used by the Central Sierra Miwok people during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. During the 1800s gold rush era, Long Barn itself served as a wagon stop along the Sonora Pass route. Westbound pioneers would halt at the Long Barn to refresh their supplies, obtain food, and rest. An apple orchard was planted beside the structure to provide travelers with fresh provisions, and that orchard remains standing today. The original Long Barn building was torn down in the early 1970s.
The Long Barn Lodge, constructed in the 1920s, later became a destination for mountain vacationers. The lodge featured a restaurant, guest rooms, bar, and entertainment, eventually earning recognition as the Four Seasons Resort within the area known as Sonora Pass Vacationland. Over time, the facility expanded to offer a pool, horseback riding, ice skating, and hiking. However, the historic lodge, restaurant, game room, and bar were destroyed by fire in 2002. Due to insufficient insurance coverage, the buildings were never rebuilt, marking the end of an era for the community.
