Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. Plenty will dangle a tempting offer, then vanish once they've seen it — or quietly shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's not how we work.

  • We bring the DMV paperwork and walk you through it at pickup.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.

2

We Drive Out to Lake Worth Beach

Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Lake Worth Beach: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Check Your Paperwork

Can I Sell My Car in Lake Worth Beach?

Two questions. Tells you exactly where you stand.

Do you have the title in your name?

Is there still a loan or lien on the car?

This includes title loans, and any bank or lender listed as lienholder.

If you have the title and it's paid off

You're good to go

Clean title, no lien. Have the title, a photo ID, and the keys ready at pickup — our driver brings the rest of the paperwork.

If you've lost the title (and there's no lien)

Still workable

A missing title usually isn't a dealbreaker. Bring a photo ID and the vehicle registration if you have it. We handle no-title sales regularly — just tell us your situation when you call.

If there's still a lien or title loan on the car

Not yet — the lien has to be cleared first

A car with an active lien or title loan can't be sold until the lender releases it. Pay off the balance, get the lien release from your lender, and the title becomes yours to sell. Once that's done, give us a call — we'll buy it.

If you're not sure whether there's a lien

Easy to check

Look at the front of your title — if a bank or lender is printed in the lienholder section, there's a lien on the car. If you financed it and haven't paid it off, assume there is one. Still unsure? Call us and we'll work through it with you.

If you have no title and aren't sure about a lien

Check with your lender

Without the title in hand, the quickest way to know is to contact the lender you financed through, or request a title record from your state's motor vehicle office. If you never financed the car, there's almost certainly no lien. Call us and we'll help you sort it out.

Selling Your Title in Florida

How to Sign Over a Car Title in Florida

Selling a car in Lake Worth Beach means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Florida asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.

Where to sign

In Florida, complete the transfer section on the Florida title and record the odometer.

Notary required?

No — notarization is not required.

Your license plates

Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.

Lost your title?

No problem — apply for a duplicate title (Form 82101) with the FLHSMV.

No title in hand? We buy plenty of Florida cars without a title in hand — bring ID and registration.

Good to know: Florida lets you remove and keep your plates, then transfer them to another vehicle.

For the official rules, see the Florida DMV title page.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Lake Worth Beach?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price

The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.

We Pick Up on Your Schedule

Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Lake Worth Beach or Palm Beach County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.

We Handle the Paperwork

Selling a car in Florida takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. Don't have the title? That's usually workable — just tell us up front. The one thing we can't buy is a car with an active lien or title loan on it.

Towing Is Free, and You're Paid Before It Leaves

The tow costs you nothing — it isn't folded into the offer or taken out afterward. You're paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Every car we buy may be resold at auction, used for parts, or recycled at a licensed Florida yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.

What We Buy in Lake Worth Beach

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Lake Worth Beach falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. The one exception: we can't buy a car that still has an active lien or title loan on it.

Junk Car Prices — Lake Worth Beach, FL

What Is a Junk Car Worth in Lake Worth Beach?

The floor on any junk car is its weight in scrap metal. As of September 2026, U.S. yards are paying roughly $150–$200 a ton for whole cars. Multiply that by your car's weight and you have the least it's worth.

Cars with good parts, a catalytic converter still on, or an engine that runs are often worth more than scrap — that's why we price every car on a call, not a chart.

The scrap math

weight ÷ 2,000 × price per ton

A 3,300 lb sedan is 1.65 tons. At $175 a ton, that's about $290 in metal.

Can I get $500 for my junk car?

Sometimes. At today's rates a full-size truck or SUV can reach $500 on weight alone. Smaller cars usually need something extra — a newer year, good parts, or a running engine.

Vehicle typeExamplesTypical weightScrap value
Compact carCivic, Corolla, Focus · 2,800 lbs Civic, Corolla, Focus 2,800 lbs $210–$280

Scrap rates as of September 2026, updated monthly. Scrap value is a floor, not a quote — yards subtract for tires and fluids, and your actual offer depends on your car. Call 800-219-4551 for your real offer.

A Little About Lake Worth Beach

The Story of Lake Worth Beach, FL

Lake Worth Beach, located in east-central Palm Beach County approximately 63 miles north of Miami, takes its name from the Lake Worth Lagoon along its eastern border. The lagoon itself was named for General William J. Worth, who led United States Army forces during the final phase of the Second Seminole War. While archaeological evidence shows that the Jaega inhabited nearby areas thousands of years ago, the city's modern history began in 1885 when Samuel and Fannie James, an African American couple, became the first known settlers, filing a homestead claim on 187 acres. Fannie James operated the Jewell Post Office from 1889 to 1903, serving the sparse population between Lantana and West Palm Beach. A pivotal land development scheme by Bryant & Greenwood in the 1910s offered buyers parcels of land in exchange for purchasing lots in present-day Greenacres, spurring dramatic growth from just 38 residents in July 1912 to 308 by December of that year. The town of Lake Worth was incorporated in June 1913, with carpenter and Socialist Party member James Love elected as its first mayor. The city experienced rapid expansion during the 1920s land boom and again following World War II. Today, Lake Worth Beach is known as one of Palm Beach County's most ethnically and racially diverse municipalities, featuring historic neighborhoods like College Park and Old Lucerne. The city hosts numerous annual cultural events, including street painting festivals, ethnic celebrations, and Palm Beach Pride, one of Florida's largest LGBTQIA+ pride festivals. In 2019, residents voted to officially change the city's name to Lake Worth Beach.
