Plenty of people assume an old clunker is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and what we offer tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what your car is really worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. Plenty will dangle a tempting offer, then vanish once they've seen it — or quietly shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's not how we work.
We service every part of Loleta, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.
Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Loleta: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.
Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Loleta or Humboldt County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.
Selling a car in California takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. The car does need a clear title in your name — no active loans or liens.
Every car we buy could be potentially resold at auction, or used for parts, or recycled at a licensed California yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.
Every car we look at in Loleta falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Loleta.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Loleta on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Loleta means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.
No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.
Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

Loleta is an unincorporated community in southern Humboldt County, located 15 miles south of Eureka near the Eel River and Humboldt Bay. Known to the Wiyot people as Guduwalhat, the area was inhabited by Native Americans for generations before European settlement began in the early 1850s. The town was originally called Swauger or Swauger's Station, named after local landowner Samuel A. Swauger, before being renamed Loleta in 1897. The name's origin is debated, though it is believed to relate to Wiyot language, possibly meaning "pleasant place at the end of the tide water" or referring to a trail on Table Bluff.
Early settlers initially focused on potato farming, but depleted soil and declining prices led to a shift toward dairying in the 1870s, which remains central to the local economy. The arrival of the Eel River and Eureka Railroad in 1883 spurred growth, and the Humboldt Creamery plant opened in 1893. A network of railroads eventually connected Loleta to San Francisco by 1914. Fishing also played a significant economic role, with salmon catches averaging fifty thousand dollars in the early twentieth century as fish buyers from San Francisco gathered each autumn.
Today, Loleta is home to 828 residents and serves as the seat of the Loleta Union School District. The Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria operates the Bear River Casino in the community. The area attracts wildlife enthusiasts, as Aleutian Cackling Geese gather here during their spring migration, with flocks exceeding four hundred birds observed in March.
