  • Free towing is baked in — never carved out of your offer
  • You choose the pickup time and we plan around it, all across Tununak and Bethel County

The Process

How It Works in Tununak

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.

2

We Drive Out to Tununak

Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Tununak: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Tununak?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price — Locked In

You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Tununak sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.

Setting Up Your Tununak Pickup

After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Tununak or the wider Bethel County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.

The Paperwork Is on Us

Signing a car over in Alaska comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Once your Tununak vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Alaska environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

What We Buy in Tununak

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Tununak falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.

Our Promise in Tununak

Why Tununak Sellers Choose Us

Quoted Price Is Final

No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.

Free Towing, Every Time

There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Tununak.

Any Condition Considered

Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Tununak on its own, not by a blanket rule.

Paid Before It Leaves

You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

Selling Your Title in Alaska

How to Sign Over a Car Title in Alaska

Selling a car in Tununak means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Alaska asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.

Where to sign

In Alaska, sign and date the title in the seller area and fill in the odometer.

Notary required?

No — notarization is not required.

Your license plates

Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.

Lost your title?

No problem — request a duplicate title from the Alaska DMV (Form 812).

No title in hand? Bring your ID and registration and we will sort out the Alaska paperwork with you.

Good to know: Plates stay with the seller in Alaska, not the vehicle.

For the official rules, see the Alaska DMV title page.

A Little About Tununak

The Story of Tununak, AK

Tununak is a census-designated place in Bethel Census Area, located on the northwest side of Nelson Island in the Bering Sea. With a population of 411 at the 2020 census, the community sits approximately five miles from the nearest village of Toksook Bay, connected by a year-round trail. The name Tununak comes from the Central Yupik word Tununeq.

The settlement has a long history in the region. Explorer Edward Nelson visited in December 1878 and documented six people living there. It first appeared on the 1880 U.S. Census as "Tanunak" with eight Inuit residents, though the name and spelling varied in subsequent censuses before being formally incorporated as Tununak in 1975. A Roman Catholic mission was established in 1891. The community was disincorporated in 1997 and became a census-designated place with the 2000 census.

Today, Tununak maintains its Yupik heritage and culture. The Central Yupik people make up nearly 95 percent of the population. The Lower Kuskokwim School District operates Paul T. Albert Memorial School, a bilingual English-Yugtun school serving kindergarten through twelfth grade. The community is served by Tununak Airport for transportation and has basic infrastructure including a post office and commercial services, though residents rely on wells for drinking water and traditional honey buckets for sewage due to the lack of piped systems.
