The Process

How It Works in Chino

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.

2

We Drive Out to Chino

Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Chino: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Chino?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price — Locked In

You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Chino sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.

Setting Up Your Chino Pickup

After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Chino or the wider San Bernardino County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.

The Paperwork Is on Us

Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Once your Chino vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

What We Buy in Chino

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Chino falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.

Our Promise in Chino

Why Chino Sellers Choose Us

Quoted Price Is Final

No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.

Free Towing, Every Time

There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Chino.

Any Condition Considered

Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Chino on its own, not by a blanket rule.

Paid Before It Leaves

You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

Common Questions

FAQ — Cash for Cars in Chino

Selling Your Title in California

How to Sign Over a Car Title in California

Selling a car in Chino means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.

Where to sign

In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.

Notary required?

No — notarization is not required.

Your license plates

Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.

Lost your title?

No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.

No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.

Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

For the official rules, see the California DMV title page.

A Little About Chino

The Story of Chino, CA

Chino, whose name means "curly" in Spanish, is a city located at the western end of San Bernardino County, California, with Los Angeles County to its west and Orange County to its south. The area's roots run deep in agricultural heritage, dating back to the Spanish land grant that created Rancho Santa Ana del Chino. Before Spanish settlement, the Tongva people maintained a settlement called Wapijangna in the Santa Ana River watershed. Following Mexican independence, Governor Juan Bautista Alvarado granted the rancho to Antonio Maria Lugo, and later his son-in-law Isaac Williams took charge, establishing large herds of horses and cattle that became targets for raids during the early 1840s. The area witnessed the Battle of Chino during the Mexican-American War, after which the Mormon Battalion labored on the rancho's agricultural harvest and built a grist mill.

After the 1850 California admission to the union, the rancho eventually passed to Richard Gird, who began subdividing his land in 1887 and established the town of Chino, officially incorporated as a city in 1910. The Chino Valley's extraordinarily fertile topsoil, reaching depths of four feet, made it an agricultural mecca from the 1890s through the mid-twentieth century. Sugar beets, corn, peaches, walnuts, and strawberries flourished, with "Chino corn" becoming famous along the Pacific coast. The dairy industry subsequently became dominant from the 1950s through the 1980s, with Dutch immigrant families establishing highly efficient dairies that made Chino the nation's largest milk-producing community. Today, with a population of 91,403 at the 2020 census, Chino has developed into a suburban city forming the western anchor of the Inland Empire region.
