Frazier Park is a village and unincorporated community in Kern County, California, situated five miles west of Lebec at an elevation of 4,639 feet in the Mountain Communities of the Tejon Pass. The earliest documented activity in the area dates to 1854, when lumber from Frazier Mountain was harvested for Fort Tejon, a nearby Army post. The modern community was established in 1925 by Harry McBain, who named it in 1926 after Frazier Mountain on its southern border. The post office opened on September 14, 1927, with Charles B. The community made national headlines on October 11, 2023, when a winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $1.75 billion was sold at the Midway Market & Liquor store.
