Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The deciding is the hard part, and that's behind you. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps it refreshingly painless: reach out, hear your number, give us the nod, and we'll arrive with cash in hand. No dragged-out process, no games.
We buy cars for cash all over Randsburg and the surrounding Kern County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Randsburg, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Randsburg: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Randsburg sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Randsburg or the wider Kern County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Randsburg vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.
Every car we look at in Randsburg falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Randsburg.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Randsburg on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Randsburg means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.
No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.
Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

Randsburg, formerly known as Rand Camp, is an unincorporated community in Kern County, California, located 17 miles south of Ridgecrest in the Rand Mountains at an elevation of 3,504 feet. This small census-designated place has experienced significant population decline, dropping from 69 residents in 2010 to just 45 in the 2020 census.
The town's history is rooted in gold mining. On April 25, 1895, gold was discovered at the Yellow Aster Mine by Frederic Mooers, John Singleton, and Charles Burcham. Both the mine and the resulting mining camp were named after the gold mining region in South Africa. A mining camp quickly formed, and by December 20, 1895, the Rand Mining District was officially created. The settlement experienced rapid growth, with the camp renamed to Randsburg in 1896 when its population exceeded 1,500 people. The first post office opened that same year, and by October 1897, the mining district had produced over $600,000 in gold.
Mining operations continued for over a century, though with varying success. The Yellow Aster Mine closed in 1918, reopened in 1921, and changed hands several times before Glamis Gold purchased it in 1983. Final operations ceased in 2006 when all remaining gold-bearing rock had been extracted.
Today, Randsburg attracts visitors year-round, particularly during autumn and spring when temperatures are moderate. The annual Western Days Celebration, held the third weekend of September, features gun fights, gold panning, live bands, and dances. Off-roading enthusiasts also visit to use the town's legal off-roading trails.
