Plenty of people assume an old clunker is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and what we offer tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what your car is really worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. Plenty will dangle a tempting offer, then vanish once they've seen it — or quietly shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's not how we work.
We service every part of Piedmont, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.
Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Piedmont: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.
Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Piedmont or Calhoun County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.
Selling a car in Alabama takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. The car does need a clear title in your name — no active loans or liens.
Every car we buy could be potentially resold at auction, or used for parts, or recycled at a licensed Alabama yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.
Every car we look at in Piedmont falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Piedmont.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Piedmont on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Piedmont means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Alabama asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In Alabama, sign the back of the title in the seller section and record the odometer reading.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — apply for a replacement title through the AL Department of Revenue (MVT 12-1 form).
No title in hand? We can often still buy it — bring your ID and registration and we will walk you through what Alabama needs.
Good to know: Vehicles 35 years and newer need an odometer disclosure on the title.

Piedmont is a city located in Calhoun and Cherokee counties in Alabama, with a population of 4,400 according to the 2020 census. The community began in the early 1840s at the crossroads of two post roads. Major Jacob Forney Dailey of North Carolina arrived in 1848 and purchased land in the area, initially naming it Cross Plains when a post office was established in 1851. The city eventually adopted the name Piedmont in 1888, a word meaning "foot of the mountains" that better reflected the surrounding mountainous landscape.
The Standard Coosa-Thatcher Cotton Mill, established in the late 1800s and operating from 1892, served as the primary source of employment for nearly a century until its closure in 1995. The mill was demolished beginning in 2016, with workers salvaging over 100-year-old materials during the process.
Today, Piedmont is a popular destination for outdoor recreation. The city is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and near Duggar Mountain, Alabama's second highest peak. The Chief Ladiga Trail, a paved recreational path running through downtown Piedmont, stretches nearly 100 miles to Atlanta and Anniston, making it the second-longest paved trail in the United States. Visitors enjoy access to hiking trails, streams, rivers, the Duggar Mountain Wilderness, Talladega National Forest, and Terrapin Creek, which offers kayaking, canoeing, camping, swimming and fishing opportunities. Thousands of people visit annually to experience the area's natural environment and recreational offerings.
