Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The hardest part is deciding, and you've already done that. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps things simple and straightforward: reach out, hear your offer, give us the go-ahead, and we'll show up ready to pay. No long wait, no runaround.
We've bought cars in just about every corner of Sacramento County, and Sacramento is right in our backyard. From the main roads through town to the side streets most buyers won't bother with, we'll come to wherever your car is parked.
Plenty of people assume an old clunker is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and what we offer tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what your car is really worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. Plenty will dangle a tempting offer, then vanish once they've seen it — or quietly shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's not how we work.
We service every part of Sacramento, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.
Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Sacramento: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.
Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Sacramento or Sacramento County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.
Selling a car in California takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. The car does need a clear title in your name — no active loans or liens.
Every car we buy could be potentially resold at auction, or used for parts, or recycled at a licensed California yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.
Every car we look at in Sacramento falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Sacramento.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Sacramento on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Sacramento means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.
No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.
Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

Sacramento is the capital city of California and the county seat of Sacramento County, positioned at the confluence of the Sacramento and American Rivers in the Sacramento Valley. With a population of 524,943 at the 2020 census, it ranks as the fourth-most populous city in Northern California and the sixth-most populous in the state. The Sacramento metropolitan area encompasses 2.46 million residents, making it the 27th-largest metropolitan area in the country.
Before Spanish arrival, the Nisenan, Maidu, and other indigenous peoples inhabited the region for perhaps thousands of years, sustaining themselves on acorns from oak trees, gathered fruits and roots, and animal protein including salmon, deer, and elk. In 1808, Spanish explorer Gabriel Moraga surveyed and named the Sacramento River after the Blessed Sacrament. The area later developed under Swiss-born John Sutter, who arrived in 1839 with a Mexican land grant and established Sutter's Fort and the settlement of New Helvetia. Following the Gold Rush and the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, Sacramento City was laid out by Sutter's son and Samuel Brannan in December 1848, eventually becoming an overnight commercial success. The city incorporated in 1850 and became California's permanent state capital in 1854 when it offered its county courthouse to house the state legislature. The state capitol building was completed in 1874.
Today, Sacramento serves as the seat of the California Legislature and governor, and is a major healthcare center home to Sutter Health, UC Davis Medical Center, and the UC Davis School of Medicine. The city attracts 15.3 million visitors annually and houses cultural institutions including the California Museum, Crocker Art Museum, and California State Railroad Museum.
