We buy cars for cash all over Livermore and the surrounding Alameda County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Livermore, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Livermore: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Livermore sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Livermore or the wider Alameda County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Livermore vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.
Every car we look at in Livermore falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Livermore.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Livermore on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Livermore means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.
No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.
Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

Livermore is a city in Alameda County on the eastern edge of the San Francisco Bay Area, with a population of 87,955 according to the 2020 census. It is the most populous city in the Tri-Valley and the principal city of the Livermore–Pleasanton–Dublin urban area.
The area that is now Livermore was originally home to Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone Costanoan peoples, with four tribelets occupying the valley floor and surrounding hills. After Mission San José was founded in 1797, these Indigenous communities were profoundly affected by Spanish recruitment and disease. As settlers arrived following the 1848 Gold Rush, Indigenous populations declined dramatically, with only 28 remaining in the valley by 1906.
Robert Livermore, a British merchant sailor, settled in the valley in the early 1840s after receiving the 48,000-acre Rancho Las Positas land grant in 1839. His ranch became a stopping point for travelers heading toward the gold fields, and the area became known as Livermore's Valley. The city was founded in 1869 by William Mendenhall, who set aside 100 acres for a townsite and named it after his friend Robert Livermore. The Western Pacific Railroad built tracks on the land, and the new rail connection accelerated growth significantly. Livermore was incorporated on April 1, 1876.
In its early decades, the economy was based on wheat, cattle, coal, oil, and wine. Historic wineries including Wente Vineyards and Concannon Vineyards, founded in the 1880s, established the valley's wine industry. Today, Livermore is home to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and is connected to the wider Bay Area by Interstate 580 and Altamont Corridor Express stations.
