Selling a car in Watsonville shouldn't mean driving it anywhere — and with us, it doesn't. We work throughout Santa Cruz County and come straight to you, whether you're near the center of town or out toward the county line.
Plenty of people assume an old clunker is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and what we offer tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what your car is really worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. Plenty will dangle a tempting offer, then vanish once they've seen it — or quietly shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's not how we work.
We service every part of Watsonville, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition, and we'll have a real offer for you in about two minutes.
Say yes and pick a time that works for you — often same-day, or within 24 to 48 hours. We come out to wherever the car sits in Watsonville: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, puts payment in your hands, and then tows the car away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
The price we quote is the price you get. As long as your car matches what you described, nothing changes at pickup.
Tell us a time that works for you, anywhere in Watsonville or Santa Cruz County. We come to you — you don't drive anywhere.
Selling a car in California takes a few forms, and our driver brings what's needed and walks you through it. The car does need a clear title in your name — no active loans or liens.
Every car we buy could be potentially resold at auction, or used for parts, or recycled at a licensed California yard. Nothing gets dumped or left behind.
Every car we look at in Watsonville falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Watsonville.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Watsonville on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Watsonville means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what California asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In California, sign the front of the title on line 1A as the registered owner; a second registered owner signs on line 1B. Then complete the odometer and sale-price lines.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — file an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) with the CA DMV.
No title in hand? We regularly buy cars without titles in California — have your ID and registration handy.
Good to know: California requires a smog certification on most sales, though many older and non-running cars are exempt.

Watsonville is a city in Santa Cruz County, California, located in the Monterey Bay Area along the Central Coast. Today, the city is home to approximately 52,590 residents and is known as a predominantly Latino and Democratic community that has designated itself a sanctuary city.
The land where Watsonville now stands was first inhabited by the Ohlone nation of Indigenous Californians, who settled along the Pajaro Dunes because of its fertile soil suitable for cultivating plants and animals. The area's name itself carries this history—the Pajaro River earned its name from a large bird spotted by soldiers of the Portolá expedition, the first Europeans to explore the region, who arrived in 1769. During their journey north, the expedition camped near present-day Watsonville for five days in October, with some soldiers suffering from scurvy slowing their progress. It was during this time that Franciscan missionary Juan Crespi documented the first sighting of Coast redwood trees in the area.
After the American Conquest and the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848, waves of American and European migrants arrived in the region. John H. Watson and D. S. Gregory laid out the town in 1852, and Watsonville was incorporated on March 30, 1868, taking its name from Watson. The early twentieth century brought an interurban railway connecting the community to Port Watsonville on Monterey Bay, facilitating produce shipments to San Francisco. Today, Watsonville remains an important agricultural hub, with its wetlands and surrounding areas providing vital habitat for countless species of birds and fish along the Pacific Flyway.
