Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The deciding is the hard part, and that's behind you. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps it refreshingly painless: reach out, hear your number, give us the nod, and we'll arrive with cash in hand. No dragged-out process, no games.
We buy cars for cash all over Canyon and the surrounding Contra Costa County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Canyon, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Canyon: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Canyon sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Canyon or the wider Contra Costa County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in California comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Canyon vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every California environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

Canyon, formerly known as Sequoya, Elkhorn, and The Redwoods, is an unincorporated community nestled in the hills between Oakland and Moraga near the border of Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Situated at an elevation of 1,138 feet along the upper canyon of San Leandro Creek on the eastern slope of the Berkeley Hills, Canyon sits on the Spanish land-grant tract Laguna de los Palos Colorados. The community's landscape is defined by redwood groves and ferns along the creek, mixed forests of live oak, bay, and madrone on steep hillsides, and chaparral dotting the ridge.
Canyon's colorful history begins in the nineteenth century with logging camps and saloons that gave the area its rowdy reputation. In the 1850s, Hiram Thorn built a mill on the site and constructed a logging road to transport redwood logs over the mountain to Oakland. The Sacramento Northern Railway later ran through the canyon in the early twentieth century before the Upper San Leandro Reservoir flooded former settlements including Valle Vista and Redwood, along with neighborhoods within Canyon itself. The construction moratorium imposed by the East Bay Municipal Utilities District in 1951 significantly reduced the community's population by half. Today, Canyon residents maintain their own roads and water systems through active community associations. The community maintains a cherished tradition since 1971 of decorating a memorial Christmas tree in December, originally planted over the ashes of a young boy named Christopher and expanded to honor other deceased residents.
