The Process

How It Works in Taylor

From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.

1

Tell Us About the Car

Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.

2

We Drive Out to Taylor

Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Taylor: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.

3

Get Paid Before We Leave

Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.

Why Wee Pay Cash For Cars in Taylor?

Done Properly — Start to Finish

The Quote Is the Price — Locked In

You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Taylor sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.

Setting Up Your Taylor Pickup

After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Taylor or the wider Wayne County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.

The Paperwork Is on Us

Signing a car over in Michigan comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.

Where Your Car Goes Next

Once your Taylor vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Michigan environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.

What We Buy in Taylor

Whatever Shape It's In, We're Interested

Every car we look at in Taylor falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.

Good Running Condition

Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.

Junk / Scrap Condition

Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.

Salvage / Totaled

Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.

Bad Motor or Transmission

Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.

No Title in Hand

Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.

Our Promise in Taylor

Why Taylor Sellers Choose Us

Quoted Price Is Final

No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.

Free Towing, Every Time

There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Taylor.

Any Condition Considered

Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Taylor on its own, not by a blanket rule.

Paid Before It Leaves

You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.

A Little About Taylor

The Story of Taylor, MI

Taylor is a city in Wayne County, Michigan, located approximately 16 miles southwest of downtown Detroit as part of the Downriver suburban community. With a population of 63,409 according to the 2020 census, Taylor ranks as the 17th most-populated city in Michigan and is the most-populated municipality in the Downriver area.

The city traces its origins to when the land was largely rural farmland. Peter Coan became the first recorded landowner in 1830, purchasing an 80-acre parcel from the federal government. His legacy lives on through Coan Lake in Heritage Park, named in his honor. Residents in the western portion of Ecorse Township found themselves too distant from civic affairs, prompting them to petition for a separate community. This petition was granted in 1847, establishing Taylor Township, which was named after Major General Zachary Taylor, a Mexican-American War hero who later became the nation's twelfth president.

The arrival of the Wabash Railroad in 1876 brought development to the area, with a small station built after George E Hand sold the right-of-way. The original station, destroyed by fire in 1965, was replicated at Heritage Park. German settlers established the West Mound United Methodist Church in 1882, which was relocated to Heritage Park in 1994.

Taylor incorporated as a city on March 6, 1968, after citizens voted in favor in 1966. Today, the city is home to Heritage Park, which annually hosts the Junior League World Series, attracting young baseball players from around the world. The city is also the founding location of Hungry Howie's Pizza and hosts several important institutions including Corewell Health Hospital, Wayne County Community College's Downriver Campus, and the Taylor Sportsplex.
