Got a vehicle you're finally ready to part with? The deciding is the hard part, and that's behind you. From here, Wee Pay Cash For Cars keeps it refreshingly painless: reach out, hear your number, give us the nod, and we'll arrive with cash in hand. No dragged-out process, no games.
We buy cars for cash all over Wayne and the surrounding Wayne County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
Plenty of folks figure a tired old car is worth next to nothing — dead engine, dented panels, or parked so long the tires have gone flat. Here's the truth: we'll take it in whatever shape it's in, and the figure tends to surprise people in the best way. Call 800-219-4551 and we'll tell you what yours is genuinely worth.
Anyone can post an ad promising to buy your car. A lot of them will dangle a tempting number, then disappear once they've seen it, or shave the price the moment they're standing in your driveway. That's simply not how we work.
We service every part of Wayne, including:
From your first phone call to cash in your pocket, it's just three steps — no detours, no surprise charges.
Give us the year, make, model, and rough condition. A genuine offer comes back inside two minutes — nobody calling you back later, nobody twisting your arm.
Say yes and choose a time that suits you — frequently same-day or the day after. We roll out to wherever the car sits in Wayne: your place, your job, anywhere. You stay put.
Our driver shows up with the paperwork, loads the car, and puts payment in your hands before pulling away. Start to finish in well under half an hour.
You've probably heard how it goes elsewhere: a high number to reel you in, then the driver arrives, "finds" a bad converter or a shot transmission mount, and suddenly your offer is $300 lighter. We've lost count of how many Wayne sellers have told us that exact story. We price your car honestly up front, and that figure is what we hand over — full stop.
After you take the offer, we'll line up a pickup slot built around your schedule — commonly same-day or next-day if you're anywhere in Wayne or the wider Wayne County area. Our trucks are out this way constantly, so finding a time is almost never a problem. One call and it's booked.
Signing a car over in Michigan comes with more forms than most folks bargain for — doubly so when the title is tangled or there's still a loan attached. Our drivers bring every document, handle this process daily, and file it right the first time, so nothing comes back to bite you down the road.
Once your Wayne vehicle is ours, it moves on to a second life — resold, broken down for parts, or recycled at licensed yards that follow every Michigan environmental rule. Nothing gets dumped or left behind; each car is dealt with the right way.
Every car we look at in Wayne falls into one of a few buckets below — and every one of them gets a real cash offer.
Starts, drives, and still has life left in it. These usually get our strongest offers since less work is needed before resale.
Rusted through, stripped, or simply too far gone to drive again. We still buy these and pay based on weight and scrap value.
Carries a salvage title or was written off by insurance after an accident. We buy these with or without paperwork in hand.
Blown engine, seized motor, slipping gears, or stuck in park — mechanical failures like these don't change whether we'll buy it, just the number.
Lost it or never had it? Missing paperwork slows things down a little, but it rarely stops a sale. Note: we're not able to buy cars with an active loan still on them.
No surprise deductions when our driver shows up. The number we give you over the phone or online is the number you get paid.
There's no towing fee folded into the offer and no fee taken out after. Pickup and tow are always free in Wayne.
Running, wrecked, missing parts, or sitting on a salvage title — we evaluate every car in Wayne on its own, not by a blanket rule.
You get paid on the spot at pickup, before the car ever leaves your driveway.
Selling a car in Wayne means signing the title over the right way. Title rules are set at the state level, so here's exactly what Michigan asks of you — and remember, when you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup.
In Michigan, sign the title in the seller section and record the odometer.
No — notarization is not required.
Keep your plates — they stay with you and can transfer to your next car.
No problem — apply for a duplicate title at a Michigan Secretary of State office.
No title in hand? Bring ID and registration and we will help with the Michigan process.
Good to know: Michigan plates stay with the seller and move to your next vehicle.

Wayne is a city located about eighteen miles southwest of downtown Detroit in Wayne County, Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 17,713. The site that would become Wayne was historically crossed by the Sauk Trail, drawing Potawatomi and French fur traders long before permanent settlement. George M. Johnson built the first settler's cabin in 1824, establishing what became known as Johnson's Tavern, a stopping point for travelers. The settlement gradually developed under Ezra Derby, who purchased the tavern in 1832 and established a sawmill, store, and blacksmith shop. In 1834, the area was platted as Derby's Corners, but in 1836 it was renamed Wayne in honor of Revolutionary War General Anthony Wayne. The arrival of the Michigan Central Railroad in 1838 accelerated growth. Wayne's industrial heritage is particularly strong in transportation and automotive manufacturing. The Prouty and Glass Carriage Factory moved to Wayne in 1888, making the city the largest carriage and sleigh producer in the country. Later manufacturers included the Gotfredson Truck company and the Graham-Paige car company. Ray Harroun, winner of the first Indianapolis 500, built the Harroun motor car in Wayne from 1916 to 1921. Today, Ford Motor Company operates two plants in the city: Wayne Stamping & Assembly and the Michigan Assembly Plant. The city was incorporated as a village in 1869 and became officially recognized as a city in 1960.
